Let's be precise and honest: from Le Caïman (735 Boulevard Charest Est) to the Convention Centre, the walking route is about 1.1 km and climbs from Lower Town up to Parliament Hill, with stairs and slopes. Allow 18 to 20 minutes on foot, or ~5 minutes by car / taxi. A public elevator and stairs connect Lower Town to Upper Town to avoid part of the climb.
