Exhibitor lodging in Quebec City — the ExpoCité show calendar, 2026–2027

Every date below was read on the organizers' websites on September 8, 2026. Distances come from a road itinerary (OSRM) computed the same day from 735 boulevard Charest Est. A show runs 2 to 10 days, but exhibitors arrive the day before for set-up and leave after tear-down: count one or two nights more than the poster.

What this page does not claim: we are not on any official lodging list for these shows, and we publish no rate — the price is set in the manager's booking engine for your dates. What you do get: two apartments 4 km from the Centre de foires, with what an exhibitor needs for 4 to 11 nights.

Why an apartment beats a hotel room when the show lasts ten days

• Two closed bedrooms: two colleagues, two doors, one invoice. Up to 6 guests per unit.
• Full kitchen and washer-dryer: ten days on a booth means ten dinners and at least one load of laundry — not ten restaurants.
• Free indoor parking: your vehicle stays under cover overnight; the Centre de foires itself offers daytime parking during several shows.
• Saint-Roch, not an industrial strip: cafés, restaurants and groceries at the foot of the building, and Old Quebec a 15-minute walk away for the closing-night dinner.

What is actually open this fall (read on September 6)

As of the booking calendars read on September 8, 2026: #1104 Matisse Penthouse (11th floor) is open November 8–14 and December 6–12, which covers the Salon des artisans; #405 Cinema Loft is open November 8–11 and 15–21, then December 5–11. These windows go continuously: check the live calendar before planning your set-up day.

Is Le Caïman an official accommodation of the ExpoCité shows?

No. We are not on any organizer's lodging list and we offer no negotiated rate. This page exists because official lists only propose hotels: an exhibitor staying 4 to 11 nights often wants a kitchen, a washer and two closed bedrooms — which is what our two Saint-Roch apartments offer, 4.2 km from the Centre de foires.

How far is Le Caïman from the ExpoCité Centre de foires?

4.2 km by road, about 7 minutes by car (OSRM itinerary computed on September 8, 2026 from 735 boulevard Charest Est). The building's indoor parking is free, and the Centre de foires offers its own daytime parking during several shows.

Can I book an apartment for the whole Salon des artisans (November 27 to December 6)?

Yes, if the calendar is open on the day you book: as of September 8, 2026, #1104 is open December 6–12 and #405 December 5–11 (the show's final days). The rate is set in the manager's (Initial Location) booking engine for your dates; no grid is published here.

Is the Québec book fair still held at the Convention Centre?

No: starting with the April 7–11, 2027 edition, the Salon international du livre de Québec moves to the ExpoCité Centre de foires (announced on silq.ca; Le Soleil, May 5, 2026). Lodging guides that still mention the Convention Centre are outdated.

Can two colleagues share one unit?

Yes: each unit has two closed bedrooms and sleeps up to 6. For a larger team, both units are in the same building — see renting both apartments for a group.
